Friday eReader
Here is our Friday eReader. This week she’s a kid. It was great to get back to the UNYPL after a Fall break. I was down with the flu this week though, which for the most part rendered me a librocubicularist. (I learned this word on Tumblr today via only a working title.)
The American Reader is a monthly journal of literature and criticism. They wrote about the underground library with some nice thoughts. Also, here is a depiction of a woman reading in the subway, made by John Sloan in 1926 (viaThe Metropolitan Museum of Art).
